Semester : Full Year

Available to grades 11 and 12

Prerequisites : B or better in Algebra 2 and concurrent enrollment in/or completion of Precalculus



Honors Physics is an exciting subject. Practical considerations of motion, forces, electricity, and waves are a few of the topics addressed in this course. Students in Honors Physics will learn basic physical laws through a series of demonstrations and discovery experiments. There will be a strong emphasis on problem solving techniques and critical writing. Honors Physics is an academic elective reccomended for students pursuing either a math or science related field.
